Machinery Technician
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Machinery Technician to join our team at John Ross & Sons Ltd. as a Machine Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and adjusting processing machinery to ensure efficient production.
Key Responsibilities- Observe gauges, meters, computer printouts, video monitors, and products to verify correct operation of machinery
- Set up, prepare, and adjust processing machinery according to established procedures
- Verify processing conditions and work area to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Record production information and complete reports to track performance
- Make adjustments to machinery as needed to optimize production
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additional benefits include:
