About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive, Marketing & Business Development to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quote and marketing support for groups up to 500 lives.
  • Prepare client-ready reports and documents.
  • Develop and present proposals and alternatives to traditional and non-traditional employee benefits plans.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure groups are being quoted properly and in a timely manner.
  • Support advisors in obtaining proper quotations and ensure they submit all necessary information.
  • Review and sign off on final reports and provide support to other team members.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education with at least three years of experience in the group benefits industry.
  • Working knowledge of group insurance principles, assessment techniques, group benefit plans, and terminology.
  • Exceptional focus on value-driven customer service.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and issue resolution skills.
  • Excellent reasoning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever-changing environments.
  • Advanced computer skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
