About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive, Marketing & Business Development to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quote and marketing support for groups up to 500 lives.
- Prepare client-ready reports and documents.
- Develop and present proposals and alternatives to traditional and non-traditional employee benefits plans.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to ensure groups are being quoted properly and in a timely manner.
- Support advisors in obtaining proper quotations and ensure they submit all necessary information.
- Review and sign off on final reports and provide support to other team members.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education with at least three years of experience in the group benefits industry.
- Working knowledge of group insurance principles, assessment techniques, group benefit plans, and terminology.
- Exceptional focus on value-driven customer service.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and issue resolution skills.
- Excellent reasoning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever-changing environments.
- Advanced computer skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
