Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team in Sudbury, Ontario. As a key member of our purchasing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our supply chain operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of our company.

Duties:
  • - Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services
    - Process purchase orders and track deliveries
    - Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
    - Communicate with vendors to resolve issues or discrepancies
    - Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management
    - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met
    - Generate reports on purchasing activities as needed

Experience:

Familiarity with procurement processes and procedures is an asset. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is also required.

Benefits:

The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. In addition to a salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including company pension, dental, vision, extended health care, disability and life insurance, and RRSP matching.


Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Overtime pay is included in the compensation package. On-site parking is available.
