Job Summary
Four Seasons Hotels Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the Engineering Category team. This exciting opportunity will be a key position within the procurement organization, responsible for developing and implementing regional category strategies to align with Four Seasons capability and spend ambitions.

About the Role
This role includes collaborating with the Four Seasons Design Services, Regional Business Partners, and Property Directors of Engineering and Procurement. The role will be operating in an agile environment and working in cross-functional teams to ensure a high-quality, consistent, and efficient buying process.

Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing Management and Reporting: Leveraging competitive commercial approaches to optimize savings and business value; building and implementing annual category plans to drive strategic management of related spend;
- Conducting regular spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities; leveraging internal and external resources to stay apprised of relevant industry trends;
- Preparing all procurement-related documents including RFx, project budgets, and status reports; performing required contract management activities;
- Monitoring supplier KPIs and facilitating remediation of performance issues; managing negotiations with new suppliers;
- Developing relationships with relevant business stakeholders;

Reporting and People Management
- Managing cost savings tracking and assisting with preparing annual cost savings analysis report; owning reporting and adherence to regional category strategy;
- Working closely with regional business partners to ensure compliance within hotel locations;
- Collaborating effectively with business units and functional partners;

Other Responsibilities
- Contributing process improvements to increase efficiency and value of the team; performing other work or special projects as assigned;
- Handling ad-hoc projects in collaboration with business partners;

Requirements
- 5-7 years' experience in procurement and/or Engineering procurement experience; a professional certification (i.e., CPSM or CSCP) is desirable;
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field; excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint;
- Experience in Birchstreet/Microsoft Dynamics desirable; advanced knowledge of procurement techniques and supplier management;
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills; market knowledge & experience working within the Engineering Industry;
- Proven track record of achieving category savings; global exposure an asset;
