About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Specialist to join our team in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with project design, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of construction drawings, documentations, and BIM models to identify potential conflicts between architectural/structural elements and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate relevant drawings and documentation to streamline workflows, eliminate schedule delays, and ensure smooth execution of electrical work.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to monitor project schedules, manage RFIs, and oversee the approval of shop drawings.
  • Supervise the on-site progress of electrical installations to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control material and labor costs related to electrical components, ensuring accurate and timely quality reporting.
  • Assist in resource planning and procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Provide expert direction during the testing of electrical systems, ensuring optimal operation and system functionality.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing complex projects in Clean and Dry Rooms environment, Automotive, or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Experience working within large, complex project teams and actively participating in project meetings.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work safely on an active construction site in accordance with the Health & Safety Plan.
