Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Spencer's & Spirit Halloween store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through effective management of expenses, human resources, and merchandising and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Maintain Guest Services: Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, providing excellent customer service, and addressing customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Lead and Develop Team Members: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
- Manage Inventory and Merchandising: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels and that merchandise is displayed in a visually appealing and organized manner.
- Control Expenses and Shrinkage: Analyze and manage store expenses, including labor costs, inventory shrinkage, and other expenses, to ensure maximum profitability.
Requirements:
- Minimum Age Requirement: 21 years
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience: Prior retail management experience required
