Retail Store Manager Assistant

As an Assistant Shop Manager at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, you will play a key role in helping to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to our customers. You will work closely with the Front Store Manager to manage the human, physical, and financial resources of the store, ensuring that store objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
- Help manage labour scheduling and leverage Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize labour productivity.
- Assist with hiring in conjunction with the FSM, hiring and/or supporting hiring for all departments, excluding Pharmacy.
- Plan, judge, and make decisions to control expenses.
- Use efficient time management skills and effective organization and planning skills.
Previous retail management experience is required, as well as the ability to drive the business, lead by example, and support corporate programs. You will work effectively with the management team and take ownership of your work.
