Academic Hematopathologist Opportunity

The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Nova Scotia Health is seeking an academic hematopathologist. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art diagnostic methods and research opportunities in morphology, molecular pathology, bone marrow transplantation, coagulation disorders, transfusion medicine, flow cytometry, and HLA typing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic services as a hematopathologist
  • Contribute to the development of new diagnostic methods and protocols

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine (MD) or equivalent
  • Completion of a fellowship program in Hematopathology or related field
  • Certification in General Pathology or Anatomical Pathology (or acceptable equivalent)
