We are seeking a skilled Housing Policy Manager to lead our team in developing and implementing effective housing policies. As a key member of our department, you will work closely with senior leadership to inform decision-making and drive strategic objectives for housing.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that produces comprehensive analysis and recommendations on housing policy. This will involve:

  • Developing and implementing evidence-based policy solutions
  • Leading major strategic projects for housing
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop policy and program evaluation
  • Providing expert advice to senior management and the Minister on housing priorities

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., public administration, law, social sciences)
  • Several years of progressive experience in a policy development role, including team leadership
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of policy and legislative processes
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • A broad understanding of corporate and government issues and priorities

What We Offer

Location

This role is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and requires regular attendance at our office.
