About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will provide exceptional service to our members, exceeding their expectations and making them feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized and friendly service to members, responding to their inquiries and identifying their financial needs.
  • Process member transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, and other financial services.
  • Understand member needs and identify opportunities to promote Credit Union products and services, referring them to appropriate team members and external partners as required.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals, contributing to the growth and success of our Credit Union.
  • Resolve routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk and ensure the security of our members' financial information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Proven sales experience, with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Cash-handling experience, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A high school diploma, with post-secondary education in finance or a related field being an asset.
