About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our members, exceeding their expectations, and making them feel at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent and courteous service to members, responding to their inquiries, identifying financial needs, and providing recommendations for Servus products.
  • Process member transactions with accuracy, including deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances, and cheque cashing.
  • Understand member needs and identify opportunities to promote Credit Union products and services, referring them to appropriate team members and external partners as required.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals.
  • Resolve routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines while performing member transactions to mitigate risk of loss to Servus Credit Union.
Requirements

To qualify, you must have customer service experience, proven sales experience, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma. Previous experience working with a Financial Institution and post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) are valuable assets.
