About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Gerrie Electric Wholesale Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Program Development: Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees, including orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development.
  2. Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions to employees across all branches, using a variety of methods, including classroom instruction, online learning, and on-the-job training.
  3. Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Employee Development: Work with employees to identify their training needs and develop personalized development plans.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Operations, and IT, to ensure that training programs align with business objectives.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs meet their needs.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development, and make recommendations for improvements to our training programs.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in an HR Training related field.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in an industrial setting.
  3. Skills: Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories, learning designs, and delivery; experience with training software and technology; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
