Job Summary

This role oversees training and development for employees across all branches of Gerrie Electric. The successful candidate will design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training plans based on employee needs and input from directors, branch managers, and executive team members.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions in various formats, including in-person, virtual, and online.
  • Upload and maintain training materials on our company intranet, ensuring all staff have access to resources and information.
  • Coordinate and schedule health and safety training, as well as other specialized training programs.
  • Log and track training completion, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Stay up-to-date with health and safety standards and ministry requirements, collaborating with the Director of HR as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and prepare training materials to support these initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to promote the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of our branches, DC, and head office functions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree or college diploma in an HR training-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with adult learners, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories, learning designs, and delivery methods.
  • Experience with OHS legislation and knowledge of health and safety standards.
