Training Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Development Specialist to join our team at Gerrie Electric, a leading electrical distributor in Ontario. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our employees and the organization
- Design and deliver training sessions on various topics, including health and safety, product training, and soft skills
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training content and materials
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure training effectiveness
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in an HR Training related field
- 3+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in an industrial setting
- Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories, learning designs, and delivery methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
