About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our People and Culture Department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with our operations team and management to identify training needs and requirements.
  • Create engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, videos, and online modules.
  • Coordinate training schedules, venues, and resources to ensure smooth delivery of training sessions.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions, maintaining engagement and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Update and revise training materials as necessary to reflect changes in policies, procedures, or industry standards.
  • Track attendance and maintain accurate training records.
  • Participate in the onboarding process by delivering training sessions to new hires and helping them transition smoothly into their roles.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees post-training, addressing any questions or challenges they may encounter.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of previous working experience in property management, teaching, training, customer service, or HR-related roles.
  • Knowledge of property management software, such as Yardi, is an asset.
  • Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist or a similar role.
  • Training and Development certification is an asset.
