About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at Superior Propane. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and administering executive compensation programs and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Senior Leadership and HR business partners to understand business objectives and translate them into effective compensation solutions.
  • Support the preparation of materials for monthly Executive Leadership and quarterly scheduled Board meetings.
  • Liaise with external consultants and research public filings to obtain understanding of market trends relating to executive compensation programs and structures.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and analyses for executive audiences, outlining results, trends, and costings.
  • Support the delivery of the annual compensation program for the Executive Leadership team and ad-hoc executive compensation projects.
  • Lead ongoing enterprise education and support with respect to compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Maintain recordkeeping and update inventory of Executive Employment Agreements and other plan documents.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, with a focus on executive and equity compensation.
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Data expertise and familiarity with various sources of compensation data.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders and external partners.
