About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our compensation philosophy and strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compensation Strategy and Development
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions.
  • Compensation Planning and Administration
    • Design and implement compensation plans and programs that support our business objectives.
    • Administer compensation programs, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
  • People Analytics and Insights
    • Partner with our Director, Compensation and HR Team to support deliverables for HR projects.
    • Provide insights and support projects to drive business decisions and measure success of programs and initiatives.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate compensation-related information to stakeholders, including employees, managers, and executives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Compensation, with a strong background in compensation strategy and development.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Expert proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI.
