Compensation Manager

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Total Rewards team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective and efficient compensation solutions for Global Banking and Markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement compensation programs that support business goals and are cost-effective.
- Provide guidance to leaders and Human Resources business partners on compensation issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand challenges and trends in the market.
- Ensure programs are competitive with the market and differentiated as appropriate.
- Develop and review reports for regulatory reporting and Board/Senior Management Committee audiences.
- University degree and at least 5-7 years' experience in compensation, preferably in a large, global corporate environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, including vlookup, pivot tables, and nested ifs.
- Strong working knowledge of compensation and human resources policies, practices, and standards.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects/changing priorities concurrently under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders.
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex topics in a simple and straightforward manner.
