About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Calgary Pain Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical services to patients with complex chronic pain needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with chronic pain
  • Provide evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy and other interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care
  • Participate in program evaluation, quality improvement, and research activities
  • Supervise doctoral-level psychology residents and provide education to interprofessional learners
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program
  • Active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with chronic pain patients
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
