Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Vascular Surgery team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a Master's degree in Nursing and experience as a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care and support the vascular surgery team.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan
  • Integrate clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Presume treatment and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients
  • Utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program with a minimum of a Master's degree
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong computer skills with a preference for knowledge of Connect Care

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $123,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
