Technical Support Specialist

The User Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software applications. This will involve consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to identified problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to identified problems.
- Collaborate with other technical support analysts to resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience.
- Supervise other technical support workers in the group and provide training to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties effectively.
- Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
- Set up equipment for employee use, including performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to other technical support analysts.
- Permanent employment opportunity for 40 hours per week.
