Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience, ensuring compliance with standards, rules, and regulations at site, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience
* Ensuring compliance with standards, rules, and regulations at site
* Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and clients
* Performing highly visible patrols of assigned patrol areas/zones (by foot) and positively engaging with tenants, guests, visitors, and employees on an ongoing basis
* Maintaining strong knowledge of activities and special events and assisting visitors and guests during their visit
* Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arrive
* Maintaining compliance with and enforcing property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
* De-escalating emergency/crisis situations

Qualifications:

* Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
* Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
* Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours)
* Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
* Must have a strong command, comprehension, and fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
