Job Title: Security Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience, ensuring compliance with standards, rules, and regulations at site, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience
Ensuring compliance with standards, rules, and regulations at site
Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and clients
Performing highly visible patrols of assigned patrol areas/zones (by foot) and positively engaging with tenants, guests, visitors, and employees on an ongoing basis
Maintaining strong knowledge of activities and special events and assisting visitors and guests during their visit
Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arrive
Maintaining and enforcing access control procedures
De-escalating emergency/crisis situations

Qualifications:

Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours)
Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have a strong command, comprehension, and fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
