Job Title: Healthcare Security Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients, buildings, and assets in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Present a smart, visible, and alert security presence
* Greet, assist, and direct members of the public visiting the premises
* Ensure the safety & security of clients, buildings, and assets
* Work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
* Carry out all security duties as specified (including, but not limited to):
Proactive/reactive interior & exterior patrols
Response & assistance in emergency situations
Documenting & reporting of any/all security events on shift
Investigate routine incidents
Patient watches
CCTV monitoring
Parking & smoking by-law enforcement
Hospital policy awareness & enforcement
Access control/key control
Monthly safety inspections

Requirements:

* Valid Ontario Security Guard License
* Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
* Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
* Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
* Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
* Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
* Minimum 6 months of non-healthcare security experience preferred
* Must be able to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 months
* English proficiency (oral & written) is required
* Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
* 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
