Position Overview

Ross Video is seeking an experienced Director, Quality Management System (QMS) to lead our QMS within Manufacturing Operations based in Ontario, Canada. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance as we pursue manufacturing excellence across our operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the QMS, ensuring a solid structure, process manuals, and documentation.
  • Oversee internal audits and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Present quality management reports to leadership, focusing on key metrics and improvement opportunities.

Management Review and Auditing

The successful candidate will conduct regular QMS reviews to align improvements with strategic objectives and manage internal and external audits to maintain ISO 9000 and 14000 compliances, addressing gaps and corrective actions.


Corrective and Preventive Action Facilitation
  • Steer CAPA teams to resolve product and process issues, focusing on quality and risk reduction.

Strategic Guidance for Manufacturing Excellence
  • Advise on improving quality and production efficiency, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Work with senior leadership to set quality goals, adopt best practices, and guide quality initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience managing QMS in manufacturing, preferably at a director level, with ISO 9000 and 14000 expertise.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an associated field if not QA is considered an asset.
  • Five plus years of relevant experience in QA.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex quality data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing quality initiatives across all levels.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools, with experience in CAPA processes.
