Assistant/Associate Professor, Master of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Program
Job Summary:Athabasca University's Faculty of Health Disciplines invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Master of Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service, with a focus on developing and growing a sustained program of research in a key strategic area.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Learning: Develop, teach, and evaluate graduate-level courses in the Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Research and Scholarship: Develop and grow a sustained program of research, including securing research funding, disseminating research findings, and involving partners and stakeholders.
- Service to the Community: Contribute expertise to the work of groups and agencies serving the wider community and public.
- Doctorate in nursing.
- Eligibility for registration as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Alberta.
- Three to five years of relevant academic and/or discipline-related experience, leadership experience in overseeing graduate Nurse Practitioner course coordination.
