We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our restaurant operations at DESI MANDI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and a proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Foster a culture of excellence in the kitchen, emphasizing quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed customer expectations.
- Manage kitchen budgets and control costs to maintain profitability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying innovative ideas to enhance our menu offerings and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, based on experience.
