Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Food Service Director to meet operational targets and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Manage and train a team of supervisors to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain food safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Franchisee District Managers to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.
- Manage payroll procedures and ensure accurate and timely payment of staff.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food service operations, preferably in a QSR environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing staff, achieving operational targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Food Safe certification is an asset, but we can provide training if needed.
- A competitive base salary, ranging from $50,000 to $65,000.
