Job Summary:

Ware Malcomb is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead the management of entire projects, from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of contract documents, adhering to budgets, facilitating contracts, and representing the company at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead a team of consultants and internal resources to develop contract documents and specifications.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct site visits and review shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assemble and manage consultant teams, including identifying scope of work, collecting fees, and facilitating contracts.
  • Work with the Ware Malcomb team to coordinate all aspects of project delivery, including building permits and construction.
  • Responsible for local, county, state, and federal project code searches and analysis.
  • Ensure the financial success of all projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in architecture, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • OAA License.
  • Diverse commercial experience, including industrial, office, healthcare, and retail projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.
