About the Role:

This role is a key liaison between the client and media community, providing leadership and strategic direction. You will leverage your experience and knowledge to drive innovative thinking and set challenging goals and objectives. You will oversee the development of objectives and strategies, ensuring the effective application of media tools and systems to optimize deliverables and provide solid rationale to recommendations. You will maintain day-to-day relationships with senior client leaders and serve as the key contact for partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead client-facing work for notable brands with an appetite for innovation and exploration.
  2. Develop and manage all aspects of client business, providing superior customer service and maximizing business opportunities.
  3. Responsible for meeting business KPIs and leading strategic channel planning activities associated with assigned accounts.
  4. Lead the development of planning objectives and strategies that align with the client's marketing direction.
  5. Oversight of media programs to continually meet client objectives.
  6. Establish and grow strong relationships with clients through demonstrations of industry knowledge and business acumen.
  7. Steward relationships with outside agency partners (creative, PR, promotion, etc.).
  8. Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which original objectives and strategies were met.
  9. Ensure the use of appropriate media tools and systems.
  10. Lead the strategy team, delegating work to team members according to their level and experience, and ensuring the team remains challenged and engaged.
  11. Actively incorporate tools into client planning processes and lead workshops in a Facilitator role.
  12. Understand client compensation structures and implications of plan changes.
  13. Act as a positive role model through example.
  14. Proactively stay up-to-date with industry trends and share knowledge with the team.
