Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our team at CB Canada. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment team with onboarding, background checks, and sourcing for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee database records
  • Perform thorough background checks on potential new hires
  • Source and recruit top talent for various positions within the company

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
  • Approachable and professional demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on various tasks and projects
  • Advanced skills in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Foundational knowledge in prescreening and onboarding
  • Deep understanding of administrative assistance and data entry
