Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Regional Director of Human Resources, this role is dedicated to providing comprehensive HR services at a designated site. Responsibilities include data management and various administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies while fostering a supportive and secure work atmosphere for all employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manages HR documentation; inputs information into the HR database; maintains local HR records.
  2. Offers general HR guidance to team members.
  3. Drafts communications for team members as needed.
  4. Provides administrative assistance, including photocopying, faxing, handling incoming calls, and managing incoming correspondence.
  5. May serve as a backup for payroll functions at certain locations.
  6. May conduct preliminary screening and coordinate interviews; may prepare job offers.
  7. Maintains site bulletin boards according to established schedules.
  8. Ensures HR forms are readily available and current.
  9. May participate in Occupational Health & Safety or Staff Committee meetings; takes, prepares, and distributes meeting minutes.
  10. Communicates effectively with relevant operational departments.
  11. Builds strong professional relationships with guests and team members.
  12. Ensures adherence to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements.
  13. Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education in Human Resources or a suitable combination of education and HR experience.
  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Ability to exceed expectations of both internal and external customers through prompt, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Oracle or HR systems is advantageous.
  • Capability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.

Work Environment Considerations:

This position involves a typical office and casino setting, with non-traditional working hours required in certain situations. Some travel may be necessary to support nearby locations.
