Job Summary

destinationone Consulting is seeking a skilled Emergency Preparedness Coordinator to develop and implement plans to prepare for emergencies and disasters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, training, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective emergency preparedness plans.
  • Design and deliver training programs for emergency response teams to ensure they are equipped to handle various scenarios.
  • Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to develop and implement preparedness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on preparedness activities.
  • Develop and implement public education programs to promote emergency readiness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public health, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in emergency preparedness or a related area.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of emergency management frameworks and protocols.
