About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Associate Director - Mass Spectrometry Facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of mass spectrometry instruments and a team of highly qualified technicians and technologists.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Management: Administer the mass spectrometers and related equipment to ensure smooth operation of the facility.
- Vendor Management: Deal with vendors and manage in-house equipment maintenance and repair.
- Team Support: Support the Director of Laboratory in the daily management of the lab.
- Expertise: Provide expertise in proteomic mass spectrometry.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing a mass spectrometry facility.
- Education: Master's or higher degree (Ph.D. preferred) in proteomics mass spectrometry or related field.
- Availability: Able to work onsite and occasionally outside of normal working hours.
