The Coalition of Nunavut District Education Authorities is seeking a dedicated Liaison Officer to provide training and support to local DEA Board members and staff.

About the Role

This position is open to bilingual Nunavut Inuit who are enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing training, daily support, and research assistance to the DEA board and staff.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of Nunavut's educational program, including its policies and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Inuktitut and English.
  • Confidence in public speaking in both languages.

Prior experience working with DEAs is an asset, as well as computer literacy and competence with Microsoft Office suite. A Grade 12 diploma is also desirable.

What We Offer

This is a full-time position based in Iqaluit, with no remote work possibilities. The salary range for this role is estimated to be between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
