About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Culinary Manager to join our team at Hazel's Diner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to lead our culinary department and take our menu to the next level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. They will also supervise specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff, providing guidance on preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.

As an Executive Culinary Manager, you will be required to prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions. You will also plan menus and ensure that all dishes meet our high quality standards.

In addition to your culinary skills, you will be responsible for training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. You will work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail at all times.

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 35 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
