Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-Op Engineer to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented student to assist in the development of wireless integrated circuit components. As an RF Application Engineer Co-Op, you will work closely with our Senior Application Engineers to apply your sound engineering skills to a variety of tasks, including WiFi / IoT device evaluation and customer board tuning and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the new integrated circuit and module product test activities
  • Lab testing of RF circuits, presentation of test results, and participation in customer SCH/Layout reviews
  • Completion of small projects and task assignments of various degrees of complexity, ranging from device characterization, test environment programming, and documentation
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software
  • Experience in using test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools is preferred
