Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-Op RF Application Engineer to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa. As a Co-Op Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Assist application engineering group members with customer support activities, including device evaluation and customer board tuning and testing.
- Participate in new integrated circuit and module product test activities, including lab testing of RF circuits and presentation of test results.
- Complete small projects and task assignments of various degrees of complexity, ranging from device characterization, test environment programming, and documentation.
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
- Knowledge of basic electronic circuits and principles, including RF parameters such as insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and have an aptitude for quickly learning other company-specific software.
- Experience in using test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools is preferred.
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a lab hands-on environment.
