RF Application Engineer Co-Op Position

Skyworks is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors, powering the wireless networking revolution. We are seeking a talented RF Application Engineer Co-Op to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities- Assist application engineering group members with customer support activities, including device evaluation and customer board tuning and testing.
- Contribute to new integrated circuit and module product test activities, ensuring high-quality results.
- Participate in lab testing of RF circuits, presenting test results and collaborating with customers on SCH/Layout reviews.
- Complete small projects and task assignments, applying sound engineering skills to various tasks.
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
- Knowledge of basic electronic circuits and principles, with a strong foundation in RF parameters.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and willing to learn company-specific software.
- Experience with test equipment and tools, such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills, with a willingness to work in a lab hands-on environment.
