About the Position

As a Financial Transaction Coordinator at Focus on the Family Canada, you will play a pivotal role in managing and processing the company's outgoing payments. This part-time position is based out of our head office in Langley, BC, and offers an attractive salary range of $27,456 - $32,448 per annum ($22/hour - $26/hour). You will be responsible for accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, requiring attention to detail, organization, sound accounting principles, and a pleasant and collaborative personality.

  • You will ensure all non-PO invoices receive timely approvals and GL accounting coding on invoices is accurate.
  • Process and enter all A/P invoices, credit memos, payments, and expense reports into FOTF's ERP system, ensuring correct GL Account coding.
  • Assist with the credit card reconciliation process to meet the month-end credit card journal entry.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Finance Department.

Qualifications
  • A post-secondary degree or certificate in accounting, business, or a relevant program would be beneficial.
  • You should have 2-5 years of experience working in accounting/finance.
  • The ability to sign and adhere to our Christian Foundations and Standards is required.
