**Position Purpose and Summary**

**Key Areas of Accountability**
- Coordinate and oversee the daily electronic exchange of confidential student loan and registration records between government agencies and the university by ensuring correct system configurations, accurate data, and liaising with government and appropriate IT staff/consultants to diagnose and resolve problems and recommend improvements and enhancements.
Oversee institutional loan programs and the coordination of payment deferment with the Office of the Registrar.
- Plan and oversee all automated student systems and communications related to their funding and disbursements, changes in eligibility, and threats and opportunities regarding future funding.
- Explores ways to improve and expand the overall provision of loans, grants and related supports to TWU students in order to remove financial barriers, including various electronic mass and targeted communication strategies, working in conjunctions with Marketing, Office of the Registrar, IT and other stakeholders.
- May periodically perform the duties of a Financial Aid Counsellor when required.
- Fulfill all responsibilities in a manner that is Christ-like and displays an attitude of servant leadership in all on and off campus contacts and relationships thereby living out the mission of the University. Supervise staff in a professional and Christ-like manner.

**Standards & Requirements**

**Education**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

**Experience**:

- Three (3) years’ experience working with an Enterprise ERP system (Jenzebar or similar)
- 3+ Years in an administrative role; preferably working in an educational environment
- Experience in a policy intensive environment
- Experience working in Student Services, Office of the Registrar or Financial Aid is an asset
