Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Cashier Receptionist at River Park Gardens.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for performing various clerical, record-keeping, and bookkeeping functions. The successful candidate will also serve as a communication link for our facility, ensuring that all inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They must be able to accurately process cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including cash ledgers and banking transactions.
  • Process bank deposits and ensure that all transactions are up-to-date and secure.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Lift up to 35lbs and move supplies and equipment as required.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • One year's experience working with cash and processing bank deposits using a computerized account receivable system.
  • Experience in performing general clerical duties.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Typing speed of 40-45 words per minute with less than 5% error rate.
  • Basic accounting skills and knowledge of financial coding systems.
Working Conditions

This role may require extended hours, exposure to disease, radiation, toxic materials, noise, allergens, etc., and encountering aggressive and/or agitated residents/staff/visitors.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is between $38,000 and $45,000 annually, depending on experience.
