As a pioneer in computational storage and video processing SoC solutions for cloud and edge computing, we're on the lookout for a highly skilled Payroll Coordinator - HR Administrator to join our team. Our Codensity portfolio enables enterprise, cloud data centers, and content providers to deploy high-performance applications with minimal data storage and video processing costs.

With R&D facilities in Vancouver, Toronto, and Shanghai, China, we're a Canadian venture-funded startup that's revolutionizing the industry. As part of our team, you'll be working with an experienced team of storage SoC veterans who are passionate about innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process semi-monthly payrolls for all salaried and hourly employees
  • Prepare records of employment and T4s
  • Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding processes
  • Manage the administration of the HR system, assisting employees with queries
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive employee data
  • Administer benefit enrollments and terminations
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing market salary survey data
  • Administer employee stock option process
  • Manage health and safety related programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment
  • Assist in organizing employee events
  • Assist in office administration and other duties assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field
  • Certification as a CHRP, or currently pursuing CHRP designation, is a definite asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll and HR administration experience required, ideally in an engineering or technical services environment
  • High sense of urgency and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good influencing/negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly proficient computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
