We are seeking a highly skilled Snowplough Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc. as a Highway Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our winter road maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our snowplough fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean snowplough equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate various vehicles and equipment, including snowploughs, to maintain and clear highways and roads.
- Reporting and Communication: Report any malfunctions or issues to your supervisor and communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Experience: Have experience operating snowploughs and working in cold, noisy, and wet environments.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
