The Opportunity

Teva Canada is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Generics Retail Sales business across the country. In this key leadership role, you will manage the sales organization and customer operations, including customer service, demand planning, sales analytics, and sales force effectiveness. As part of the Canadian Leadership Team, you will collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) and directly oversee a team of ~50 across 3 departments, fostering a culture of performance and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute plans to grow generics retail sales, drive engagement and enhance customer operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~50, with a focus on the national retail sales group
  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and drive initiatives to achieve revenue growth and successful product launches
  • Build strong relationships with customers, expanding business opportunities and maximizing market demand

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years of sales leadership in pharmaceuticals (preferably generics), with strong knowledge of the Canadian retail pharmacy market
  • Progressively evolving leadership experience managing functions in one or more relevant area business area
  • Strong strategic and operational skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional sales teams and drive business success and innovation
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage budgets, and drive change
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging technology and data within the industry and understands its implications from a competitive standpoint
