At ATS Life Sciences Systems, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence. As an Automation Solutions Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and servicing custom automation solutions for the Life Sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and understand customer technical requirements
- Develop concepts for custom automation solutions
- Manage technical risk and source best-in-class third-party suppliers
- Travel to customer sites to review current manufacturing practices and present technical proposals
- Present solutions and costing to senior management for approvals
- Collaborate with other ATS divisions worldwide to integrate alternative technologies
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical/systems/electrical engineering or equivalent
- Previous co-op work term experience to complement school projects and assignments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of design for automation, robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes
