Job Description

An Applications Engineering Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing custom automation solutions for the Life Sciences industry. This role requires a highly motivated individual with integrated engineering problem-solving capabilities, project management skills, and general business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and understanding customer technical requirements
  • Developing and presenting technical proposals
  • Managing technical risk and developing cost models for proposed solutions
  • Collaborating with other ATS divisions worldwide to integrate alternative technologies

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical/systems/electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of design for automation, robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical solutions effectively
