About ATS Automation

ATS Automation is a leading provider of automation solutions for the Life Sciences industry.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer technical requirements to develop custom automation solutions.
  • Manage proposal development teams and lead the development of concepts for custom automation solutions.
  • Understand and manage technical risk associated with proposed solutions.
  • SOURCE AND MANAGE "BEST-IN-CLASS" THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS through the proposal phase.
  • Develop cost models for proposed solutions, including estimates for labor and purchased items.
  • Present solutions and costing to senior management for approvals.
  • Participate in sales strategy development and implement sales strategies jointly with our sales team.
  • Write technical proposals and collaborate with other ATS divisions worldwide to integrate alternative technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical/systems/electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Previous co-op work term experience to complement school projects and assignments.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of design for automation, robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present engaging technical solutions.
