Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at SHIPCART DISTRIBUTION SERVICES. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and optimize daily transportation operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and organize daily transportation schedules and routes to meet business needs.
  • Prepare and submit reports to senior management on transportation performance and trends.
  • Supervise and train a team of transportation staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage transportation budgets and finances to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and vendors to negotiate rates and services.
  • Oversee the tracking and tracing of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery and minimize losses.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
