Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at SHIPCART DISTRIBUTION SERVICES. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, monitor department performance, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective transportation services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure transport compliance with regulations, negotiate for services and preferential rates, and oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Financial Management: Manage finances or budget, oversee the setting of transportation service rates, and monitor revenue.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of transportation operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
